Call for Artists for Inclusion in ArtsBergen Public Art Roster

Opportunity to be Included in the ArtsBergen Public Art Roster

Northern NJ Community Foundation ArtsBergen’s is accepting applications for inclusion on its artist roster. Artists can apply between February 29, 2024 – June 30, 2024. This Call is open to local, regional, and national artists.

NNJCF’s ArtsBergen is one of the largest producers of public art in Bergen County, NJ, and is seeking to grow its roster of artists who create public art that is relevant to community and accessible to the public. We are seeking a diverse group of artists and artist teams who are interested and capable of producing innovative and creative artworks and experiences in the municipalities we serve.

This is an opportunity for artists to be included in a pool for potential paid work opportunities. ArtsBergen is looking to learn more about artists in the area available and interested in creating public art. We will compile this list of talent into a roster of artists we can call upon to help us develop and implement projects. The roster will also become the main tool for choosing artists for public art projects, as well as a resource to match municipal interest and artist disciplines, styles, and foci.

ArtsBergen, the arts initiative of the NNJCF, promotes creative placemaking, the practice of engaging communities in designing their public spaces using the arts.
